Hey everyone, here is a link sent around by COPCS for a really neat website – it is free to use for the people we support, and offers a way to pursue lifelong learning from community peers and mentors. Check it out!
Our neighbors up the road here in Kelowna have a Drama Club, and they are putting on a play based on the Wizard of Oz! Come check it out next week, October 26th, if you are in the area.

Please find the attachment for the Southern Interior Regional Self Advocate and the Kootenay Community Council Conference October 20th and 21st. This year the conference is being hosted by the Self Advocates of the Rockies, in conjunction with Kootenay Community Council. Community Living British Columbia is sponsoring a limited number of tickets for Self Advocates and their support if necessary; within the Southern Interior Region. Each area will have a number of tickets assigned to them, they will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. The conference will be opened to other advocates, family, friends, care-givers and direct support at the full cost (great value) of the conference.
We are looking forward to meeting people from our region.
On behalf of the Self-Advocates of the Rockies
P.S. Thank you for your patience.
